Our Philosophy

At Calisthenics Training we believe in the foundations of movement: Strength, Flexiblity & Agility and that by developing your abilities in these key areas you will you move better, feel better and live better!

Our unique training program is a combination of body weight training, adult gymnastics strength training and functional movement exercises.

We offer a mix of small group classes and personal training sessions to fit our clients needs and can cater for all fitness levels. All our classes and sessions are taught by elite level gymnasts and movement specialists.

Foundations Class

Experience the best that Gymnastics Strength Training has to offer. During our Foundations class In this class you will learn core positioning and static holds like L- Sit on the Rings and Handstands.

Body Flow Class

Focusing on agility and flexibility, you will be exposed to functional movements and basic tumbling like Somersaults and Hand Springs.

Coach Luke

Luke Wadsworth is an internationally ranked gymnast, having represented Australia in 3 world championships and Commonwealth games. With his immense knowledge in body weight training and gymnastics strength trainig he can cater a program for all skill levels. Luke specialises in gymnastic based strength, handstands and tumbling.

Coach Kiara

Kiara is an elite level gymnast competing at an international level. She has represented Australia at 2 world championships and was a member of the 2016 Rio Olympic test event team. Kiara’s time competing at an international level and years being an elite athlete have helped her understand how to get the most out of people, while still keeping a strong foundation in flexibility and stability to progress through skill learning.

Coach Rafa

Rafa is a qualified Personal Trainer and Intermediate Gymnastics Coach who developed a training methodology focused on strength, functionality, flexibility and total well-being, based on his lifetime experience practicing a variety of Martial Arts, Yoga and human movement.

He is constantly learning new disciplines and techniques, which means not only is the training fresh, interesting and full of new challenges, but a broad knowledge base is applied to all sorts of training needs. Rafa will work with you to ensure your training is integrated into your lifestyle long term!

Coach Arthur

Arthur trained as an elite gymnast at the Victorian High Performance Program, after finishing his career as a gymnast he acquired his Advanced Silver coaching accreditation and coached elite gymnastics for 8 years. During this time, he coached many national champions and developed training programs that focused on foundational skills to support athlete development, strength and flexibility. Arthur is also a registered teacher and spent two years working in London. His experiences as an athlete, coach and educator allow Arthur to develop training programs that focus on his clients specific needs and requirements.

Coach Dre

Dre is a currently nationally ranked gymnast with over 10 years of experience.
